Robot or guy in a suit?

Not sure really. If he looks familiar then your right. I've posted a past penciled version of this a couple of months ago and I have finally got a chance to ink it. I'd like to take it a step further and color it too but we'll see. This was the first version of a robot guy i've been molding since last year to try and put together a comic book. Hopefully I can put together a decent story to fit his look.

I found old stuff

I know I said I was going to post something new this weekend but I didn't get a chance to finish it yet so bear with me just a little longer. I received my power supply today for my External Hard Drive and have spent the last 7 hours pulling files and trying to format them for the design site. I'll get that stuff up asap. In the mean time might I show you some charcoal works I did early last year for class. The first drawing was both my girlfriends hand (left) and my hand (right) so if the two hands look slightly different then thats why. The pic of the little kid is my son, the drawing of him below is really static and doesn't really capture his look, but I tried. Likeness is something I need to work on. It's obvious that I used a grid to make the drawing, hey.. even some of the masters used grids. thanks.

Clothed Figure Drawing Class Week 7

So mid-terms have come and gone. I don't have class for two weeks so that's cool I guess. I'm showing how horrible I am at hands on this post, I really need to take a heads and hands class. My instructor says that drawing hands is really just luck, I think he's right. Certain hand gestures come naturally if you do them enough, however there are the gestures that are slightly for-shortened (not sure if I spelled that right) and those are the real tough ones. It's kind of hard to erase charcoal. He was wearing gloves too.

Other than that I'm kind of in limbo right now with putting together the design site. I have been having problems with my external hard drive and had to 2nd day a new power source so I should have that monday. I plan on posting at least 80% of all of my design works from past and present.

This weekend Ill post at least one more inked drawing.

Clothed Figure Drawing Class Week 6

CARDS, yep

Hey, so I do have stuff to post from last weeks class and I'll get that up asap. I wanted to first post a quick view of some business cards I've been working on to help get some more design work possibly. I am very excited about these because I have never really promoted the design stuff I do on the side. I think that I'm going to use this site to direct possible clients to view my drawings and then I am currently working on a second site that will feature all of my design work, worth looking at thus far. Busy Busy

Don't worry folks, I'm still here. Things have been very crazy lately, I've been working (design stuff) with a friend on his new business which I'll post soon. I've also recently finished a CD design for a super nice jazz musician. I had to skip out on last weeks class cause I had to much stuff on my plate so no new clothed figure stuff. I was served a summons for a car that was repo'd over seven years ago so I was in and out of court all last week. Excuses, excuses, I know. So here is the beginnings of a new piece I've been wanting to do for a while. This is the second try at inking a sketch I had done probably a year ago. I'm gonna finish it. I hope. thanks for looking.

*** Oh yea, I got to play some paintball on sunday with my cousin and a couple of friends. My cousin was cool enough to spot my broke ass a case of paint which totally made my week. thanks B!! I owe you.
